Sweden Synthetic helmet (˜1970)

0124 Helmet of a Swedish fire department at 1970. The helmet from a German production according to DIN 14940, is the most worn fire helmet in Sweden since the 1930th. The helmet manufacturers' Brissmann, 1936 has already taken this helmet form and he firs made this helmet from metal, then produced since 1958 into glass fiber in big series. The aluminum comb also is from a German production. The helmet is silver-colored lacquered, he has circulatingly one approx. 6 mm broad, reflective, red ribbon. At the front's one red-white badge from 3M foil, wich showes a flame. The neck leather is a relatively thin, gray leather, the inside helmet according to a German standard, the head hard protection is relatively big inside. The DIN no. is behind inside one stamped, as well the sign: WAL II.
