0121 Helmet of an airport fire department in England. The white helmet from glass fiber at 1991, is carried without a further helmet. A head ribbon made of synthetic material and leather is, assembled into a carrying rack made of thin iron. The chinstrap from a flexible piece of elastic with upholstery is fastened to the helmet directly. The helmet is very high and reaches to the bottom of the chin. A big opening (ca.19x14cm) makes the view possible. The visor is stored rotatably in the area of the temples and consists of an aluminum metal framework as well as a three-layered glas from 4 mm of plexiglas, wire mesh and again 3 mm of plexiglas. The visor not completes thick at the helmet! The neck isn't covered by the helmet, The connection to the heat protection suit is made over a thickness fire protection cloth attached at the helmet. The cloth is fastened to the helmet over an instep hanger behind. The name of the presumable fireman is in the cloth: Turner. It is further entitled to read inside the helmet on a signpost: Helmet Protective Fire fighter MK3 22G/1303410 CON NO 4488/1991 Helmets Ltd. Manufacturer / distributor is the Tempex company.
Question: Could breath protection also be carried under such a helmet?
