Denmark Synthetic helmet (˜1988)
In this collection since: 19.05.2002
0120 Fire helmet from Denmark. The 1988 at the Swedish company Trelleborg produced helmet from white glass fiber, shall belong to the most progressive or most modern helmets of Europe because of his complete conception. (Stand 1995 as it didn't give the modern helmets of CGF Gallet, Rosenbauer Heros etc. yet ) The helmet has a ball visor from Polycarbonat and an aluminum coated neck guard, which one can be closed under the chin with a velcro. The helmet bell doesn't have a comb, but it is however, very high. The inside helmet is very miserable made of synthetic material however with additional ribbons. The chinstrap made of leather only is locked in place, he has a substance-related piece of elastic and is length adjustable about a buckle. The helmet has circulatingly an approx. 9 mm wide red reflective stripe on the outside, at the front a black sign, on this the letters "KLV" with a crown about this.
The "Trelleborg-helmet" was used at the Copenhagen airport fire brigade. KLV means Københavns Lufthavnsvæsen (Copenhagen Airport Authority). This helmet has been worn also at a Greek airport fire brigade. See helmet 274
