Brass helmet (˜1875)
In this collection since: 25.04.2002 |
0108 |
Brass helmet in Württemberg form with horse hair bush. At the front a letter worked out, "K", wich one describes a municipality in the Pfalz ( German federal state ). This helmet was worn at 1875. A perforation for using an Offizierbuschel or ball top is in the comb. A black Officer horse hair bush is assembled here, that one belonged to a platoon leader, adjutant or officer. Since the helmet was worn in the Pfalz and this one was under Bavarian administration at 1870, it could be, that it is the identification of a Schirrmeister. Manufacturer is Magirus in Ulm a.d. Donau. |
