In this collection since: 13.03.2002
0100 Spanish fire helmet of the Firebrigade Pamplona in the Basque region, region Navarra. Manufacturer of the helmet is the American company MSA (mine Safety Appliances company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA) or MSA Espanola S.A. The model isn't known. It has to be suspected that MSA produces helmets in concession for Spain in Spain. The red Polycarbonathelm is executed in the typical American form with long neck guard and cockscomb trained. Red indicates the person as Captain and therefore leader of a Fire station. A black edge protection protects the brim circulatingly, behind there ist a eye to hang up the helmet. Lateral devices keep a clear eye protection visor. There is a sticker at the front with the label: "BS - BOMBEROS SUHILTZAILEAK". The inside helmet reminds of a Work helmet, a neck cloth is attached at the circulating, very high (approx. 50 mm) Sweatband. There is a sticker inside with the care instructions, this in Spanish, behind is in the helmet poured centrically: MSA " -- Fire-Cap ", on the left notes of the department for work ( Helmet sure, there no metal, resistance against pollution and temperature), on the right the age (1983).
