In this collection since: 14.12.2001 |
0086 |
Former armed forces leather helmet, Prussian form with a Bavarian normal comb around 1920. The cockades introduced in Prussia at 1808 showes aon the left side the Bavarian, on the right side the colors of the German empire. Till 1897 the cockade was worn onnly in National color. The model of 5 cm of diameters can mainly be found at Firefighter helmets. The helmet dates from Bad Dürkheim. The Pfalz (German federal state) was part of Bavaria till 1918 (1933). The cockades seems to be new painted, they are, however, undoubtedly real. The back shield seems to be not real. He was actually put on and stitched up so. He doesn't have any edge edgings of brass. |
